  • GLASS TECHNIQUES

    Precision Etch

Proprietary etching process that streamlines the etching process and allows for more flexibility than the current, industry standard etching process. Our proprietary Precision Etch  technology is capable of shortening the amount of time to etch, while also allowing us to make instant adjustments and changes to any etched design. This process also gives us a the capability for seamless book matching from glass panel to glass panel, so your designs wont be restricted by multiple glass sizes in an installation process.  By streamlining our Precision Etch technique, we are able to explore many different design avenues, which means more flexibility and creativity for you!

    Digital Printing

Print high-resolution, full color images directly to most any glass or mirrored surface.

    Lamination

Our lamination services include Polyurethane Lamination and coming soon, EVA Lamination.  Our Polyurethane Lamination process is a great solution for architectural projects that require more durability, as well as projects that are looking to preserve digitally printed images and etchings. Our laminated glass is approved safety glass per ANSI Standard 97.1 and ASTM Standard.

  • CUSTOM ARTWORK FILE REQUIREMENTS

At Heavy Effects Glass, we are capable of creating custom designs based on your provided artwork. In order to ensure a top quality glass product, we require certain specifications for artwork that has been provided to us.

    File Specifications:

Please provided either an .AI file or PDF file that has been properly cleaned and print ready.

Ensure that all text has been expanded and that the artwork is scaled to the correct printing size

To ensure the most accurate color matching, we encourage you to submit a physical color sample - whether that be a color swatch, fabric swatch, or physical photo with the color in it.

As a disclaimer, we will match any color provided to us as best as we can.  Please keep in mind that there will be color variation depending on the lighting, glass type, and whether it is a translucent or opaque surface.

Please note that colors viewed on a monitor are not accurate representations of the actual color. Please do not use a monitor as a reference for color matching, as it changes from screen to screen.
